Job Description:
This associate will complete many different and often-times unrelated tasks that result from the needs of a growing business; however, his or her primary responsibilities will include providing technical support to customers, following up on sales leads, giving product demonstrations, testing our software to improve usability, and performing limited professional services work.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is entrepreneurial, enjoys the challenging environment of a start-up company, self motivated and highly organized. The candidate should also be extremely detailed oriented and know how to accomplish tasks in an organized manner. The individual will enjoy spending a considerable amount of time giving software demonstrations and answering support related phone calls and emails.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Working knowledge of HTML, XML, SQL Server and Java Script
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Available 20-25 hrs a week during the school year
- A desire to learn and find ways to improve the company
- Willing to work more hours if required
Recommended Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS or ISys (Business students with technical experience welcome)
- Basic understanding of regular expressions, XPath, and the .NET framework a plus
- A fall class schedule that would allow for working in the mornings is preferred.
