Position Description:
MES needs PHP programmers who can hit the ground running and are well-versed in the MVC web application methodology. We're looking for people able to write well-documented code, clean of all view references, using database stored procedure commands to create an optimized user experience. Preference will be given to programmers with application design experience, experience in creating affiliate programs, integrating third-party shopping cart solutions, audio and video app programming, and implementing single sign-on membership.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate shopping cart and affiliate program.
- Develop single sign-on methods for multiple insurance companies and health providers.
- Develop in-house business services apps.
- Develop scalable dictation (40+ experts) and transcription (10+ transcriptionists) interfaces
Required Experience:
- Familiarity with programming paradigms like MVC and application design on LAMP = Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP
- BA/BS CS/Math/Engineering or related field – or just be really smart with experience you can prove or some excellent code.
- OOP experience in PHP/JAVA/Python – both when OOP is and is not the “right thing” to do.
- Experience with AJAX/Javascript.
- Flash or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with CSS/HTML and front-end methods.
- Familiarity with version control systems: SVN,CVS.
- Single sign-on implementation experience a big big plus.
- Work with database architect and CSS/HTML front-end to ensure compatibility and scalability.
- “Automate everything” attitude.
- No communication diseases.
