NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program November 1, 2008 Application Deadline.  Applicants notified in late March 2009.  Three years of funding up to $121,500; $1,000 to fund international research trips; Education allowance of $10,500 Requires 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and GRE scores. Fellowship provides three years of support for graduate study and is intended for students at the early stages of their graduate study. � NSF anticipates about 1,100 awards will be given.  This is based on the availability of funds. DHS Scholarship and Fellowship Program January 7, 2008 Application Deadline Full tuition & fees for a year as well as a $2,300/month stipend for 12 months, and can be awarded for up to three years. During the semester-long collaboration, each partnership defines important issues to examine about college teaching (e.g., student involvement, effective learning activities, and authentic assessment). Collegiate Inventor's Competition � June 16, 2008 Application Deadline $50,000 for grad prize $25,000 to two undergraduate winners and $25,000 to two graduate winners. This is a competition for inventor's. There are all sorts of submissions. It is sponsored by the patent and trademark offices of the U.S. It is open to both Graduate and Undergraduate applicants. 5 awards given. No percentage of awards from how many applied on website.
